Sky Diving and Para Motoring

Powered paragliding, also known as paramotoring, is a form of ultra-light aviation where the pilot wears a motor on his back (a Paramotor) which provides enough thrust to take off using an adapted paraglider or Paramotor wing. It can be launched in still air, and on level ground, by the pilot alone — no assistance is required.
Powered paragliders usually fly between 15 and 45 mph (25 and 70 km/h) at altitudes from 'foot-dragging in the grass' up to 18,000 ft.
The Paramotor is supported by the pilot during takeoff. After a brief run (typically 10 feet or 3 meters) the wing lifts the motor and its harnessed pilot off the ground. After takeoff, the pilot gets into the seat and sits suspended beneath the inflated paraglider wing. Control is available using brake toggles for roll and a hand-held throttle for pitch.

A trip in a hot air balloon provides the ultimate views over Kandalama lake and the surrounding landscape.
We lift off from the hotel grounds as the sun rises and drift gently across the sandstone and jungle below. With no noisy engine to disturb the peace, you can enjoy the stunning vistas as the world below wakes to another day. Watch your pilot gradually lower the balloon to inches above the evergreen trees as you pick leaves or touch the tree tops, spot a bird or an animal waking to the daybreak. A Hot Air Balloon Flight is a participative activity and you can assist in the inflation and the deflation of the balloon if you wish.
Our route and final landing spot will depend on the direction and strength of the wind, but the flight lasts about 45 minutes. We will bring you back to the hotel afterwards.
Pregnant mothers and guests taking medications must consult their physician before flying in a Hot Air Balloon.
Dress casually and comfortably for the weather, it is a little warmer while the sun is out. We also recommend closed toe shoes to protect your feet just as much as the rest of you. A hat or cap to protect you from the heat of the burners.
Children – We encourage families to participate in Hot Air Ballooning, however there are issues to consider before deciding to take your children. The sides of the basket are approximately 4’ high, therefore, children who are not as tall will not enjoy the beautiful views and may get irritated. Adults are not permitted to hold or carry children during a flight.A child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. children under the age of 7 are not permitted to take the flight.
You are most welcomed to bring in your still or video cameras aboard to take as much pictures and videos to last a lifetime of your memorable sky safari over beautiful Sri Lanka !!
We normally reach between 500 and 2,500 feet high – and where allowed.
Flights normally run from November to April but may be cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.
